The yearly gingerbread house decorating is supposed to be an activity for the entire family to participate in, but for some reason Owen and I were the only participants on our house. It seems the older boys had something better to do...what that was I'm not quite sure. Maybe next year we'll have to have a house per person instead of a house per family. None the less it was a fun and messy day with much candy eating.
I think Emilee receives the award for most adorned.

Zach decided he would at least pose for a picture (without a smile) even if he didn't help with the decorating.

Wow, your house was MUCH nicer than ours. I love how it had a tree also. And the snow is really cute too. Great job Laura. I dread the days when my boys don't want to participate in the traditions I've started.
